Wanderburg is still approaching Early Access. That is the whole point of this hub. The Steam page lists 8 September 2026. A demo already exists. Trailers keep showing floors the demo does not ship. If a page on this wiki talks about the desert as if you could load it tonight, that page is wrong. Start here, then open the child articles.
The date
Early Access is the 8 September 2026 brief: single-player Steam release, extra biomes and vehicles as stated goals, single-player only, no invented 1.0 year. Randwerk (Berlin worker cooperative, makers of ABRISS) develops. Sidekick Publishing publishes. Wishlist and news sit on the official links page.
Until that date, the truthful verb is “scheduled,” not “launched.” Studio copy can change a window. Believe Steam if this wiki and the store disagree.
The demo
Demo notes cover Steam Next Fest, the later Dieter the Drunk add, studio-reported player counts, and what the grasslands slice includes. Pair it with the playable demo walkthrough so you are not reading patch history instead of driving.

News and trailers is the timeline: PC Gaming Show reveal, Games Forged in Germany trailer, Next Fest, Gamescom Most Entertaining attention, desert biome overview, and the Future Games Show date trailer. Use it when you want to know why a YouTube thumbnail looks nothing like your demo HUD.
Roadmap
Roadmap holds the Steam questionnaire numbers: six to twelve months of Early Access, extra biomes and vehicles, and the East Asian localisation Sidekick announced. It is not a 1.0 date.
How to read future patches
When Early Access starts, this hub should grow real patch rows: balance on ram, new captains, biome unlocks. Until those notes exist, we will not fake a version number. Check Steam news and the Randwerk Discord linked from official links.
If you are here because you want to play, stop browsing dates and open getting started. The keep does not care about the calendar until a steamroller does.
Bookmark this hub for launch week. The useful posts will be short: biomes actually selectable, whether ram still looks overtuned, whether demo gold survived. Everything else belongs in guides and the tier list. Dates without a driving lesson are just a countdown widget.
